The Atlanta Police Foundation under the direction of the Atlanta Track Club held its sixth annual Atlanta's Finest 5K Race on Saturday, May 17th at Piedmont Park!  The support for Atlanta's Finest and the Atlanta Police Department has been nothing short of amazing over the past 5 years.   The race included a fun 1K race for kids, providing an opportunity to introduce children to the importance of the work performed by our police officers.

Atlanta's Finest 5K is a great way for the whole community to support the Atlanta Police Foundation and the Atlanta Police Department in its vision of Atlanta as a safe city that is good for people, good for business and good for life.

A portion of the proceeds raised from the race will be awarded to units of the Atlanta Police Department.  Mini-grants are given to the three units that have the highest percentage of officers participate.
