Having more police officers living in the city ultimately enhances police visibility, improves emergency preparedness and strengthens officers' ties to the community.

The Atlanta Police Foundation is dedicated to assisting officers who want to find affordable housing within the city limits.  In addition to serving as an information and referral source, the Foundation is reaching out to a number of developers who are interested in providing housing opportunities for police officers.
