The Atlanta Police Foundation estimates the cost of providing rewards, for one month of the Crime Stoppers Atlanta program, to be approximately $10,000. To underwrite this cost, the Atlanta Police Foundation recently launched the Crime Stoppers Atlanta Sponsor-a-Month program. A tax-deductible donation of $10,000, from a corporation or a group of smaller businesses, in a particular industry, allows that sponsor to be recognized as the premier sponsor of Crime Stoppers, for that month. Participation in the Sponsor-a-Month program offers the following benefits to your company:
- Prominent recognition as the 'Sponsor of the Month' on the homepage of the Crime Stoppers Atlanta website and on the Crime Stoppers page of the Atlanta Police Foundation website. Traffic is driven to the page, through our media partner, WSB-TV Channel Two, as well as through area billboards, media releases, public service campaigns and a quarterly e-newsletter, distributed to thousands of Atlantans.
- Prominent logo recognition will be given to all Sponsor-a-Month participants, in a PowerPoint presentation, at the Annual Atlanta Police Foundation's Crime is Toast breakfast. The breakfast boasts close to 1,000 attendees, including prominent Metro Atlanta business leaders and law enforcement officials.
- Six (6) tickets to the Crime is Toast breakfast
- 2009 Crime Stoppers Member window decal for your business
- Quarterly APF e-newsletter, which features updates from the Atlanta Police Department
**The Atlanta Police Foundation is in negotiation with several prominent local media outlets to gain further recognition for our Sponsor-a-Month partners. Preferential placement in any ads or radio spots will be given to those companies who are early partners of the program.
